In 2006, the Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, one of the most important architects of the present, won the Pritzker Prize for architecture. In 1957, against the background of Brazilian modernism, begins the story of Paulo Mendes da Rocha’s rise to recognition with his sensational debut project “Clube Atletico Paulistano”.
